I decided to make a little apron/skirt for my cactus!
I finished my first cactus! Now, it is kind of jacked up in places. I couldn’t really figure out how to make the pot for the cactus, so it is pretty bad, but it still works. I also added a yellow bow to my cactus. Definitely not as good as the artist’s example, but I still think she’s pretty fun and cute!
I got the pieces washed and dried and cut out. Now for the sewing! Yay!
This is the next project I’m working on. I thought it was so unbelievably cute that I had to try it out. I also kill almost all living plants, so I thought it would be good to have some plushie plants that I cannot kill. The fabric is available through spoonflower.com and you can get the low down on the whole project at this spoonflower blog link. I got the faux-suede fabric, because I wanted it to be soft and durable. The designer of this project is Na’ama Ben Moshe, and this is a link to her instagram where you can see so many of her great projects. I’m sure mine won’t come out perfect, but I’ll keep you all updated on my progress. Also, feel free to order your own fabric and let me know how yours turns out too!
This is kind of a weirdly cute sock monkey that I bought a few years ago from someone on Etsy. He’s got super long legs, a long tail, a fez hat, and red accents. I think I was going through a sock monkey phase at that time, because I also bought sheets for my bed with sock monkeys. LOL.
So, I finished one of my Pusheen cross-stitch squares, and decided to turn it into a mini-pillow. It isn’t perfect, but I think it still is pretty cute! Yay for Pusheen!
Ahhh! How cute is this? I saw someone online with this, so I decided that this is the perfect activity for me when I don’t want to think too much. This tiny kit comes with everything you need to do a mini-Pusheen cross stitch. It has a little booklet, the hoop to hold the fabric, fabric, thread, and needles. Just thought I’d update with my progress so far! Woo! It is pretty fun, but a bit hard to see. LOL.
I’ll post a pic if I ever finish it. I just got this today, so I had to share!
NEW UPDATE!!! I finished! Yay! I have to admit I got a little blurry-eyed towards the end. Those squares are small! LOL
This is a little sock dragon I made for my parents who root for the University of Oregon Ducks. I got the pattern and idea from Craft Passion. Click the link to get the pattern to make one for yourself! They are pretty fun to make, but time consuming. This dragon is sporting the yellow and green Duck colors. Go Ducks!
This is another supercute craft from Hippywitch Crafts! I’ve had this item for a long time, so it is well-used. It is a little book to hold sewing needles! I use it all the time and it is not only cute, but practical. (Sorry about the stray cat hairs in the pic. LOL)
This 4th of July Hello Kitty is visiting from my other blog, HelloKittyStuff.org. I haven’t updated that blog in a while, but Hello Kitty wanted to make an appearance here and there for the holiday. She’s decked out in a patriotic outfit and ready to relax on holiday with her own kitty!
These are the supercute Momiji Book Nerd Girls! They are about three inches tall and on the bottom they have a hole where you can place a secret message to pass to your friend. The Book Nerd Girls were available a few years ago. Momiji comes out with supercute new designs for dolls all the time, and some are even hand-numbered! They are so hard to resist. Each girl has a different name, and different story too. If you click on the image you should be able to see each girl a little bigger. They have a few imperfections, because they have moved around over the years.
A most meow-gical Pusheen! This unicorn Pusheen lights up and makes noises when you press her moon. She has a soft pink tail, white fur, and purple accents. She is so soft and cuddly too! The battery pack is inside a velcro pouch that you can turn on and off just in case you don’t want your cat activating her sounds and lights in the middle of the night. Hahaha.
Quite possibly one of the cutest Pusheen characters out there! This is the Sloth holding Pusheen. Pusheen and the Sloth have velcro so they can hold each other with all the snuggles possible. Pusheen can also get down and run around if she wants to.
